Like many grant writers, Dr. Grant stumbled into the grant writing world. After assuming the role of Director of a grant-funded education program, he quickly had to learn the intricacies of grants. Through additional professional development and LOTS of trial and error, Dr. Grant has learned how to increase likelihood of WINNING grants.

How did Dr. Grant become successful in grant writing?

Failure. Having written numerous grants, learning from failure was one of the best teachers for Dr. Grant. As competitive person (and former athlete), Dr. Grant wanted to WIN, not just submit proposals. Through studying, research, training, and submitting a TON of grants, he has shored up his skills and continues to increase his win %.
